A baby goat born in Assam, India, born with a rare genetic disorder known as cyclopia, is defying expectations as it is living beyond the life span than what was expected.
The kid that was born on May 10 was initially deduced to live a short life due to its rare condition that resulted to it being born with one eye and one ear.
According to National Geographic, cyclopia is developed when the two hemispheres of the brain fail to separate whilst the foetus is still in the womb, therefore leading to the formation of a cyclop eye without eyelashes, eyelids, an underdeveloped nose and shortened jawline.
“I was shocked. It’s like a miracle and people have been coming to our place to see this baby goat. It’s my responsibility to take care of the baby goat. I have been feeding him like a normal goat.
“It might be something from God that the baby goat was born in our house,” Mukhuri Das told Barcoft TV.
As a matter of fact, you can call it luck that the birth of the miracle kid has generated massive attention for both the kid and Mukhiri.
