KUALA LUMPUR: Two suspects, believed to be linked to the murder of a five-month-old baby boy at Jalan Nahkoda Kiri Tiga, Kampung Nakhoda, Batu Caves here last night, have been remanded for seven days to facilitate investigations.

Gombak district police chief Asst Commissioner Ali Ahmad said the Selayang Magistrate's Court granted the remand order to hold the two suspects aged 33 and 36 years from today until July 10.

"Police are still waiting for the post-mortem report on the victim and to date, no weapons have been found at the scene," he said when contacted by Bernama.

Based on Bernama report last night Adam Rayqal went missing after the babysitter allegedly surrendered the baby to an unknown man at the suspect's house in Kampung Nakhoda, Batu Caves at about 6.30pm yesterday.

However following investigations and after information by the babysitter raised suspicion, police found the baby's body hidden in the freezer compartment of a two-door refrigerator in the house at about 11pm.
