Tottenham 0-0 Chelsea LIVE: Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko start

CHELSEA meet Tottenham at Wembley Stadium looking to recover from their opening day defeat to Burnley. Follow the action LIVE with Express Sport.

Spurs fans clearly saving themselves for the game itself as from the immediate build-up the atmosphere has been cracking.

Chelsea, through Morata, undoubtedly had the best chance but Spurs beginning to shift on up through the gears with Wanyama and Dembele currently edging the midfield battle.

21: Mousa Dembele goes on a signature jinking run that culminates in Courtois tipping his 20-yard effort over for a corner, which is promptly wasted. Interesting to see that Spurs are taking them short.

20: Lots of flicks, one-twos and failed Hollywood passes so far folks. Neither side have really found their rhythm.

17: Lucky boy. Christensen wafts his leg at a speculative ball forward but completely misses. Dele Alli looks to capitalise on the loose ball but he’s over-eager and blazes over.

14: Sorry to keep mentioning it but I’m still in shock at Morata’s early miss. Chelsea HAVE to be clinical to get a result today.

11: Gary Neville is a big fan of Chelsea in these opening stages. He thinks Antonio Conte’s got his tactics spot-on with Spurs struggling to find space. Harry Kane sidesteps N’Golo Kante, but his well-struck shot is parried away by Courtois.

8: The Spaniard has no excuses there. He was under no pressure, and had plenty of time. The curse of the 50p-shaped head strikes again… Spurs take a short corner but it’s too close to Courtois, who confidently claims.

6: How’s he missed? Alvaro Morata has missed an absolute sitter. Cesar Azpilicueta's cross is a brilliant one and Morata, unmarked, heads wide.

5: Well this is an unexpectedly quiet start. Both sides are staying composed in the the opening stages and trying to find some rhythm.

3: Yep, as expected David Luiz is playing in midfield today. Should be interesting to see how much creativity the Blues have with Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas missing.

We’re underway folks! Music, flags - it feels more like an FA Cup match.

15:59: Electric atmosphere at Wembley this afternoon. It’s filled to the rafters as the players emerge from the tunnel. We’re almost underway!

Lots of white coming along Olympic Way, Tottenham songs blaring across the public address system, “The Game is about Glory” ringing the huge bowl on the digital display panels. The club have done all they can to make this feel like home.

But with empty seats caused by ticketing issues and a few latecomers, there is a definite lack of intensity to the atmosphere just ahead of kick-off.

The 11 players starting the Wembley era for Tottenham all played on the final day at White Hart Lane.

15:53: Big fan of those trainings kits, although they’re a little too similar for my liking.

Pick a winner, I dare you. I can’t see Antonio Conte’s side crumbling like they did against Burnley last week. My money is firmly on the draw.

15:48: I’m sure Spurs fans are bored of hearing this, but it’s worth taking a look at their record at Wembley.
