In conjunction with the nation’s 61st year of independence, Sunway Lagoon launches the “Proud To Be Malaysian” campaign that will run from Aug 17 to Sep 16.
Visitors to the theme park can expect a large number of activities and attractions during this time.
Alongside the unveiling of Infantino Fernandes’ latest metal sculptures of seven bisons called “One”, the campaign will feature cultural dance performances, silat workshops, a flag hoisting ceremony and traditional games such as congkak, sepak raga and batu Seremban to evoke the spirit of patriotism in Malaysians.
“Put on the map as Malaysia’s top theme park destination by visitors from all over the world, we are celebrating Malaysia and unity with our guests through this very special campaign that embodies Malaysia as a whole.
We have also incorporated notable and cultural elements of the country into the campaign which makes us proud to be Malaysians,” said Sunway Lagoon general manager Sean Choo.
Bazaars and food stalls will also entertain and satiate the appetites of visitors, besides the “Malaysia Bazaar Bingo Card” game which rewards with cool prizes during the campaign.
Malaysians yet to visit the theme park should take the opportunity now with the Merdeka promotion.
