PETALING JAYA: Short selling of HSS Engineers Bhd and Gabungan AQRS Bhd have been suspended for the rest of the day following a more than 15 sen or 15% drop from its reference price.
Bursa Malaysia said short selling of the two stocks will only be enabled at 8.30 am on Thursday, August 23.
Gabungan AQRS' shares fell 16.05% to hit an intraday low of RM1.15 from RM1.37. HSSEB, on the other hand, fell 22.56% to 87.5 sen from RM1.13.
At 4.46pm Gabungan AQRS’ shares was trading at RM1.25 with 13.84 million shares done, while HSSEB was at 94.5 sen with RM28.64 million shares done.
