Najib says the federal government remains committed to defending the state’s security from external threats.
KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Najib Razak has said Sabah has been making a lot of progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Musa Aman.
He said the changing landscape in the state was also due to the good relations between the state and federal government.
“God willing, we (the federal government) will continue to cooperate to strengthen the development in Sabah.
“We (the federal government) are thankful to the Sabah government under Musa’s leadership,” he said during the national-level Malaysia Day celebrations last tonight.
On the security situation in Sabah, Najib said the government would ensure Sabah’s sovereignty would continue to be defended, especially from external threats.
