SINGAPORE, April 17 — Malaysians in Singapore should be cautious on the existence of a fake Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website luring visitors to disclose personal information.

According to the relevant Singapore authority, the fake website carries a URL of www.mom-sg-gov.ml/save.ica.gov.sg/save-public/index.html.

“It has come to our attention that there is a fake ICA website that is phishing for visitors’ visa reference numbers and passport numbers,” said ICA in a Public Advisory posted on its Facebook today.

ICA advised members of the public to exercise caution by checking on the URL and web address so that “you do not unwittingly fall prey to such fake websites.”
