Johor police say all 120 vape outlets in the state have closed following a royal decree prohibiting the sale of vape. – The Malaysian Insider file pic, January 4, 2016.All 120 vape outlets in Johor have closed following a royal decree prohibiting the sale of vape in the state effective January 1 this year.

Johor police chief Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said the Johor Narcotics CID chief had confirmed the closure of the outlets.

Although all the premises have closed, the police would continue with their monitoring to ensure that there was no sale of vape, including online, he told reporters after the Johor Police monthly assembly.

The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, had issued a decree prohibiting the sale of vape in the state from January 1. – Bernama, January 4, 2016.
