LOS ANGELES, April 13 — Ryan Murphy’s next series is the musical drama Pose, set in 1980s New York and revolving around Harlem’s house music dance and fashion scene of the time.
After Glee and American Horror Story, writer and producer Ryan Murphy is celebrating his enthusiasm for the influence of “freaks” and outsiders with Pose, due June 2018 on 21st Century Fox television network FX.

“We took dance from mainstream and posing in magazines and created ‘vogue,’” the trailer tells viewers. “At the core of it, it’s community. It’s about being alone and then finding people that are just like you.”
