KUALA LUMPUR: Embattled former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak's corruption trial involving RM42 million transferred into his bank accounts from SRC International will begin in February.
Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Nazlan Mohd Ghazali has set trial dates for Feb 12 to 28 and March 4 to 29.
A second round of case management, which will set further trial dates, has been set for Oct 4.
The former prime minister is facing a total of seven charges; three for money laundering, three for criminal breach of trust and one for abusing his position.
He is alleged to have received in his personal bank accounts the RM42 million, purportedly stolen from 1MDB through the former subsidiary SRC International Sdn Bhd.
